This is a story about the struggles of a lonesome boy living on a planet called Earth. His parents have disappeared to the other side of the globe, while a group of neighborhood boys torment him endlessly, making Earth feel like an alien planet. Or perhaps he is the alien. An original narrative, striking blackand- white images, immersive voiceover, and a remarkable performance by Lee Hyoje come together in this film.

JUNG Jaeseo

Jung Jaeseo was born in Seoul and graduated from the Department of Theater and Film at Hanyang University. Her short film Sprouting (2023) was invited to the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, and Rendezvous (2025) was invited to the Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival. The Boy Who Fell to Earth is her sixth short film as a director.
