For decades, Jay Kelly has reigned as one of Hollywood’s top stars. His life as an actor has been etched entirely on screen, and all his memories are movies—yet in the process, he has forgotten how to be himself. Following a chance encounter with an old classmate at the funeral of the director who launched his career, Jay Kelly embarks on an unexpected journey that takes him across Europe, from Paris to Tuscany. Jay Kelly is a lighthearted yet tender road movie, where a man grappling with a midlife crisis confronts the ghosts of his long-neglected past and rediscovers the true meanings of family, work, love, and friendship. The all-star cast, led by George Clooney in the title role, joined by Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, Greta Gerwig, Alba Rohrwacher, and Riley Keough, commands every scene they grace with their unforgettable presence, under the masterful direction of Noah Baumbach.
