★平均星级

1944, near the end of WW II, in the Italian Alps under German and fascist control. Even If Hell Came depicts the lonely struggle of 20-year-old partisan Gio. Having lost his comrades in a brutal mop-up operation, he struggles to protect a hideout until the Allied invasion begins. Suffering from cold and hunger, he meets others struggling in extreme conditions: a man who escaped from a Nazi camp; an elderly woman awaiting the return of her grandson from the front; a farmer serving as liaison with the village below. The partisan is not a hero, but simply human. Based on historical facts, it sheds light on today's world.
