In the restricted border zone of southern Thailand lies the untouched Halabala rainforest. Ruthless detective Dan pursues escaped gang leader Tub into Batow, a cursed village deep within Halabala. In that instant, the jungle transforms into a colossal predator. ’80s-style suited creatures, comic book-style close-ups, and slasher action rendered with practical special effects slice through the screen, while low-frequency sound adds a gut-churning layer of fear. The ominous totems and primal rhythms of Batow’s cannibal tribe, combined with Halabala’s sticky humidity, test the limits of rationality—who can keep their sanity intact? As violence and terror consume all, the question remains: who is the real monster? With Midnight Passion guaranteeing a ‘late-night awakening,’ this is an extreme jungle horror survival experience that will pin your eyelids open with adrenaline. Are you ready to be swallowed whole by the jungle?
