Wang Hui-chun and Chao Ching are mothers whose daughters were kidnapped by a scam organization. Hui-chun’s daughter Jin Jin has been in a coma for years, and Ching’s daughter Hsin-yi was brutally murdered. Chang Shih-kai, who viciously victimized numerous girls, is quietly executed by injection without a word of apology, and his family, who seemed repentant, continue to enjoy a happy, wealthy life built on criminal profits. Hui-chun and Ching, each enduring hardships in their lives, decide to resurrect Shih-kai to exact their revenge. Their first step is to break free from the absurdity and oppression surrounding them. The Resurrected follows two women who take measures into their own hands to get the justice that the law, media, society, and even family failed to provide. Asian superstars Shu Qi and Lee Sinje take on the lead roles, delivering intricate emotional performances pushed to the extreme and actions.
