Frenchwoman Celine met and fell in love with Armenian man Arto in Paris, and built a happy life with him, raising two children. But six months ago, without leaving a note, her husband took his own life. It doesn’t take long for her to realize how little she truly knew about him. To obtain her husband’s birth certificate—required for her children’s nationality registration—Celine makes the difficult journey to Armenia, only to find that no documents exist to prove his identity. He had concealed not only his name and occupation, but also the most important fact, all while sharing his life with Celine for many years. Now lost in a maze of mysteries, Celine plunges into the heart of a war zone to uncover why her husband kept everything a secret. In this unending nightmare, will she be able to fully confront the truth about the man who has become a mirage?
