Asami is Japanese but grew up in Taiwan and comes to Japan for work, but struggles to find a place for herself as an outsider. Involved with lots of men, she meets Petit and embarks on a relationship. But, Asami needs to meet lots of men to understand herself. Her way of life deeply hurts Petit and they break up. Asami wanders as she reaches toward herself.
