Jin-hwa, a screenwriter in her mid-thirties, still cannot escape what happened 25 years ago. In her childhood, she was slapped by her gym teacher for no reason, and she has since been plagued by tinnitus and hallucinations. A cruel, pitiful story about people who have lost their original form and live on as something else, this film is also the return of Chang Hyungyun.
Chang Hyungyun majored in animation at the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) and graduated from the School of Film, TV and Multimedia at the Korea National University of Arts. He won the Hiroshima Prize at the Hiroshima International Animation Festival for his short animated film Wolf Daddy (2005) and received domestic and international festival invitations and awards for A Coffee Vending Machine and It′s Sword (2007) and My Friend ′Go-ra-ni′ (2009). He later directed his first feature-length animation, The Satellite Girl and Milk Cow (2014), which won the Best Animation Award at the Sitges Film Festival and the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award at the Korea Content Awards. His second feature-length animation, Ireesha, the Daughter of Elf-king (2018), was invited to the Busan International Film Festival.
