Director, screenwriter and editor, born in Hong Kong, raised in Canada and now living in Paris. She worked as an editor and film composer for the renowned French New Wave director Éric Rohmer. In 2017, she was appointed a Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters in France, and she is now a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Academy Awards). She has collaborated on many occasions with documentary and fiction film directors from around the world as an editor, script consultant, producer and mentor, and has twice been nominated for the Golden Horse Award for Best Film Editing, for Ann Hui's Our Time Will Come and Adam Wong's The Way We Keep Dancing.
