Feminist film scholar, curator, and documentary producer based in South Korea. She is a Visiting Professor in the Dept. of Performing & Visual Arts at Soon Chun Hyang University, where she teaches film criticism, film history, and feminist film theory. Since 2005, she has worked with WOM Docs on feminist documentary production, media education, and policy advocacy, and has contributed to gender-equality initiatives in the Korean film industry. She currently programs Asian women’s cinema for the Gwangju Women’s Film Festival.
