Director SHIN Yeon-shick was born in Seoul in 1976. He drew attention from the film industry for his meticulous yet restrained filmmaking in The Fair Love (2010) starring AHN Sung-ki and LEE Ha-na. In 2016, he won several screenwriting awards for DONGJU: The Portrait of a Poet (2016), which he also produced.
