KwanTeo Night: Chaoshan Shorts of the Year

观潮之夜：潮汕短片年选

Official selection

Information is exploding and the whole world is looking for storytellers. Short dramas and dramas within dramas, virtual production, AI generation, spatial computing, film-game hybrids, new media, future media... artificial intelligence moves ahead by leaps every day. Now that Midsummer KwanTeo runs every year, we often ask ourselves what we should talk about together at Springtime KwanTeo. In a surging, boundless mind, is there a moment of shelter for conversations that go straight to the heart and for works that make us think? The view in the rear-view mirror cannot predict the future, but that does not stop us from looking into it, thinking it over and savouring it. Stories matter a great deal, but sometimes it is not only about the story. Come and see something different.
