'Stitching and Echoes' names a few concrete crafts: stitching scattered experience back into life, finding another way to give form to what cannot be said, and letting it echo in someone else's heart. Xiaoxuan, born in the 2000s, writes about the South and shows how an individual rebuilds and speaks; Zhihong, who studied in France, moves between musical languages and brings improvisation back to local tunes; Yuefan, who grew up in Fujian, prefers to observe and makes collage-like records of the sea, folk customs and the ties between people and place; Cali enters Chaoshan with the body of a complete outsider and takes an everyday life full of obstacles as a way into understanding himself. We put these different kinds of 'stitching' on one table and listen to how each rings out as the glasses clink. (Speakers: Wang Xiaoxuan, Huang Zhihong, Yuefan, Christian Lopez)
