Among the five shorts presented this time: someone fumbles about in a world without sound; someone rewinds again and again to recover a few words from a wedding; someone keeps company with a grandmother, with a father, living an ever stranger daily life once more; someone just keeps walking, dreaming of faraway places on the way.
Most of the time they are quiet, and the films often do not finish the sentences for them. The camera simply stays there, a little longer than we usually would. Long enough for you to start noticing how a person keeps silent, how they wait, how they keep another company as that person slowly fades.
A thousand faces, and yet they all seem to film the same thing: keeping someone company as they remember and forget, as they slowly speak, or as they say nothing at all.
Like the plate of green olives at weddings and funerals, they are there only so that moments that would otherwise pass do not pass so easily.
