Inspired by the Yunnanese concept of chit-chatting, the film gently moves through the everyday lives of Yunnanese women navigating the northern Thai-Myanmar border. From doorsteps to coffee shops, the camera lingers to capture fragments of memories, histories of flight, and the echoes of lives shaped by conflict.

IFFDAY0 peopleNo score yetNot counted

IFFDAY's share grows with the people who rated the film here: n ÷ (n + 10), up to 60% from 15 people, and nothing under 5. The rest is the average of the other platforms, each first converted to a 10-point scale and weighted by how many people rated the film there. For films made in China, Douban weighs less, the more so the earlier China is listed among the production countries. Algorithm iffday-combined-v2.
