和女友 Li Bei 一起住在北京的 Lei 回老家哈尔滨过年。夹在与 Li Bei 的感情和家人的期望之间，Lei 带了一个男人回家，让他在家人面前假扮自己的男友。当 Li Bei 意外出现在哈尔滨，局面急转直下，Lei 站在了人生的十字路口。一边是一辈子都在牺牲自己幸福的母亲，一边是想要不负母亲期望的女儿，牺牲与期望越大，彼此越是有口难言。影片探讨家庭关系中那些日常却根深蒂固的冲突，捕捉了履行家庭义务与活出自我之间的张力。这是一个极其私人的故事，却能引起普遍的共鸣，说到底，这就是我们的故事。
A writer-director. Her short film FISH EYE (2015) won the Best Short Film Award at the USA Film Festival. Her feature screenplay UNDER THE SNOW was a semifinalist for the Sundance Screenwriters Lab in 2020. She is set to write and direct one of the episodes of HER OWN CHOICE, an anthology series produced by HBO Asia and Infinitus Films Hong Kong. Big Little Things, her feature directorial debut, was selected for the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival.
