Sakhya Byamba has worked on numerous international film projects, spanning documentary and fiction. He co-founded the independent production company Guru Media with Tserenpil Ariunaa. His film Remote Control (2013) won the New Currents Award at the Busan International Film Festival, while Bedridden (2020) was selected for the Cinéfondation’s L’Atelier at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017 and screened in the competition section of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. Following the short film A Beloved Son (2023), he directed his latest film, Zogsool.
