The iconic duo returns in the latest installment of the acclaimed "The Detective Is in the Bar" series, based on Azuma Naomi's hit novels. Directed by Shiraishi Kazuya (The Blood of Wolves) with a script by Kosawa Ryota, the film follows the street-smart detective (Oizumi Yo) and his unflappable partner Takada (Matsuda Ryuhei). In a snow-bound northern town, a haunting mystery links past and present. Blending sharp banter, hard-hitting action, and bittersweet romance, this chapter pushes the series into bold new territory. Dec 25, 2026—past love becomes unforgettable devotion.
