Chen is Associate Professor of Taiwanese Literature at National Chengchi University. She holds a PhD in Asian Studies from Cornell University. She is the author of Cultural Politics of Love (2023) and Cold War Feelings (2024). Her current research focuses on the Cold War genealogy of feminism, and the archival nature of queer cultural history in Taiwan and South Korea.
