Born in Hanzhong, China in 1989, Wang Jiangyong graduated from Beijing Film Academy. His short film Teenager and Knife (2011) won Best Narrative Short at the International Student Shorts Award (SIFF, 15th). He served as 1st AD on The Pluto Moment (2018/Cannes Directors' Fortnight, 72nd) and editor on Good Old Days (2016/Warsaw IFF, 32nd). The Night That Binds Us is his debut feature.
