NAM Daeun 於2004年獲得《Cine21》影評獎後，開始影評人生涯。自2018年起，她擔任電影雜誌《FILO》的定期撰稿人，為期五年，目前則為《Cine21》撰寫「RECORDER」專欄。她著有多本書籍，包括《Time of Emotion and Desire: Living in Cinema》（2015）、《Memories of Murder: Eyes That Never Closed》（2025），以及《Becoming Bong Joon-ho: Textbooks and Mentors That Formed Him》（合著，2025）
