Fourteen-year-old Muna wants nothing more than to stay in school, but her dreams are crushed by her village’s rigid tradition of forced early marriage. She turns to her teacher for help, only to be dismissed by the villagers, who ask what use an education could possibly be. In the end, the wedding proceeds, and her dream seems to fade with no way out.
