Kitty and Claire are sisters with completely different personalities. Kitty, the model student and their mother’s favorite, is about to be promoted at work and is engaged to her wealthy boyfriend. Her older sister Claire is in a stable relationship with her girlfriend and has just begun to gain recognition as a writer, but remains far removed from a conventional life. Kitty seems to have everything while Claire appears to be struggling, but the path to happiness is not so simple. One day, when an abandoned cat enters their lives, the sisters’ emotional wounds begin to surface. Through the sisters’ eyes, the film explores the meaning of happiness and delicately portrays the complex process of defining it for oneself. Shuhua, a member of the K-pop group I-dle, plays Kitty, who takes steps toward happiness while grappling with the fear of letting her family down. Her performance heralds the emergence of a new acting talent.
